Welcome to the Official Crazy Canucks Web Site!

We are, for the most part, a bunch of old farts dedicated to wasting as much time as possible playing every Half-Life mod available.  We get together and shoot, knife, blow up, eat, and generally maim and destroy each other on weekends, and occasionally during the week; work, wives, children, and domestic servitude permitting.

I suppose our name and logo make it a bit obvious, but most of us are Canadians, and the server is physically located in Eastern Canada, but we have, and have had, people join us from several other nations, the UK and the Czech Republic among them, and of course, our neighbours to the south, the US.

IMPORTANT!  This website is down when our game server is up.  The game server is up from approximately 8:00pm EST Friday and Saturday nights, and occassionally other nights during the week, until it is shut down the next morning at 5:00am EST.  The full website is taken down when the game server is started up, and is replaced by a simple information page.

IMPORTANT!  If you are planning on joining us, you should be aware that we run custom maps.  All the custom maps that we run are available from the downloads section, except for the custom maps we run on our Day of Defeat: Source server.  Those maps are available from SunLit Games.  You can find a list of the custom DOD: Source maps that we run here.

We do have fast downloads for custom content from the game server, but I'm not sure how well the hosting can handle all 17 slots trying to download at once, so if at all possible it would be best for you to download and install the maps during the week so that only those who really need it will be using the downloads from the game server.
