I take back every nice thing I said in my last post. I received my replacement box today. They shipped me a defective reconditioned unit. Random freezings abound.
I am livid. I am.... ARRRGGGGGG.

My review of MVIX products:

DO NOT BUY.

looking more and more like that will be the case MVIX is under and ultimatum to make this right. we'll see how they do against Angry-Letter-Writer-Sean.

So, I was waiting patiently today for my “new and improved” MVIX Ultio Pro replacement box they shipped me when low and behold, I check the UPS tracking on the package and read that the delivery could not be made because the delivery person could not collect the money I owe on the box. Confused, I call UPS to find out that, sure enough, their delivery person could not simply give the box to the security office in my lobby like they did last time because I owe 76 dollars for the box!

Why, you may ask? MVIX shipped it as a new box, not a replacement! That means duty broker fees and taxes…
I called MVIX and explained that all they had to do was correct the shipping label and all would be good—or so UPS told me.

MVIX’s response? NO. We’re done dealing with you, we’ve sent a request to the computer store you bought it from to issue you a full refund.

My laptop and 60 dollar wireless keyboard with built in laser trackball are now my TV. I sit typing this on my couch, staring at words as they appearing on my TV. My TV is confused; it’s not used to being interacted with in this way… I must say it’s the biggest computer screen I’ve ever seen… I wonder if I can play DOD this way?

I wish it was over... it seems they haven't quite yet accepted the return package they told me to return to sender... truly a company to avoid.
